Summer is, by definition, the beautiful season when we have a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. You should take advantage of this to prepare light menus with mainly vegetables, preferably fresh for a maximum supply of vitamins and enzymes.

• A fresh juice every morning before your sports session (in addition to coffee and a small pastry if necessary). Avoid adding sugar to your juices, prefer dates if you need the sweet taste.

• A large glass of water with lemon right after sport; and about twenty minutes before each meal. Then enjoy about thirty minutes of relaxation after your shower while listening to music (and not watching the news on TV).

• For lunch, prepare a different salad every day, including tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, courgettes, onions, whatever you have on hand.

• Don’t forget a source of protein, ideally lean meat, fish or just a good Herbes de Provence omelette. Eggs are the richest protein food for their weight.

• Add nuts and seeds for more fiber, fatty acids, and protein: walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, pumpkin, flax, or sesame seeds. Vary menus to provide your body with maximum nutrients.

• A directed diet does not mean prohibiting small whims, but it is better to opt for homemade pastries based on seasonal fruits, fresh desserts, sorbets or cups to prepare as a family.

• Finally, we invite you to have your last meal around 6:00 pm, to give your stomach and intestines at least 12 hours of digestive rest. Intermittent fasting is ideal to complement sports practice, it helps you detoxify, lose extra kilos and regain vitality at the same time.
