The grids thus drawn will serve as a guide for drilling the holes in the bottom of this tray. You will simply drill a hole with the drill at each intersection between rows and columns.

Finally, clean the tray you drilled your holes into. Put it in the bottom tray and dump your garbage inside. Place a small amount of litter in the lower tray to soak up any cat urine that may come out of the upper tray.
When you clean your new self-cleaning cat litter box, start by removing feces. Then sift the sand, stirring the perforated tray well, so that the used sand grains fall into the bottom tray.
