What do you need :
- A broom
- Paper towels
- White vinegar
- a spray bottle
Fill a spray bottle with a mixture of white vinegar and water (in a 50/50 ratio).
Wrap 2-3 paper towels around your broom and secure with a rubber band on each side.
Spray the baseboards with the vinegar cleaning solution.
Sweep the baseboards to remove any dirt that has accumulated there.
Replace the paper towel as soon as it gets dirty.
White vinegar is an excellent natural cleaner, as it helps to unclog all traces of dirt thanks to its antimicrobial properties and its high content of acetic acid.
Of course, avoid using vinegar on marble or natural stone, since the acidity of the product will damage these surfaces. It is advisable in this case to use Marseille soap.

What do you need :
- 3 liters of hot water
- 4 tablespoons or (1/4 cup) liquid dish detergent or household soap.
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Use a sponge or microfiber cloth to wipe down the baseboards with the cleaning solution (if the stains are stubborn, feel free to rub with the sponge, applying light pressure). Wring out the sponge firmly to prevent too much water from getting into the wood. Once you’ve cleaned the baseboards, use a cloth dampened with clean water to give them one last pass and remove any soapy residue. The remaining oil will add luster and shine to the wood.
