Of course, a pencil can come in handy at a very convenient moment when you need to write something important in your diary or notepad. But one of the reasons a stylus is useful to have in the car is mainly how quickly you can write on pretty much any material except a piece of paper. For example, in an emergency situation, if you have an altercation with a motorist or witness a problem on the road, you can record the license plate of a moving car in seconds. The advantage is that it will be easy for you to remove the registration later without damaging the materials of the car.
You can also use a regular pencil to do some minor touch-ups. In particular to camouflage certain small scratches or cracks: thanks to its dark color, it can create the illusion and hide small defects on certain surfaces. It remains a fast and cheap alternative. Finally, coincidentally, the pencil can help you in certain disturbing situations in the car: if the driver drops something in a very narrow corner, for example between the central tunnel and the seat, in order not to damage the upholstery, it can be used the pencil. like a stick to push or retrieve the lost object. It also happens often that you drop your car key and have great difficulty in retrieving it by hand. Therefore, the pencil will come to your rescue!

Apart from the pencil, there are still other items and accessories that you should always take in the car. Not all of us have the reflex to think so, but some of them may be essential at certain times.
Few drivers think about it, but a first aid kit is essential in a car. It takes up little space and allows you to remain operational in case the slightest problem arises on the road or during the trip. Therefore, it is recommended to have an emergency kit containing the following items: instant ice, sterile eyewash solution, elastic bandages of different sizes, various adhesive bandages, medical scissors, gloves, tweezers, and antiseptic wipes.

reflective vest
Did you know that since February 13, 2008, the RSE (Interministerial Road Safety Committee) has made the presence of yellow safety vests mandatory in all vehicles? At the risk of getting a ticket, you better have at least one in your car. This reflective vest is a must for the driver, just like the warning triangle. It must be fluorescent and bear the CE marking (European Conformity). In case of danger or accident, day or night, you must wear it to inform other motorists of your situation. You should also keep it in a corner next to the driver’s seat (the glove box in particular), not in the trunk.
Finally, of course, it would be wiser to always keep the official documents of the car in the glove box as well: driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration certificate. During a police check, you will have everything you need at hand.
