- an old battery
- a tweezer
- a screwdriver

How to proceed :
Step 1: Remove the steel casing of the battery with the screwdriver
First, start by peeling off the outer metal cover of the battery with the screwdriver, then smooth it out so it is as flat as possible.

Step 2 – Cut the Pile to Make a Wedge
Using your scissors, cut the liner into the shape of the letter “T”. Be sure to follow the pattern in the picture so that the shape fits your lock perfectly and slides on easily.

Now slide the cutout metal liner into your lock, making sure it is inserted into the side of the lock that is unlocked (it comes out when you open it and is usually on the locking mechanism side).

Push the handle up and hold it. Then, apply firm pressure to the metal liner inside the lock and turn it to the side only so that it falls into the locking mechanism.

Once this move is complete! Slide your finger inside the ring of the lock and lift it up. The latter should simply open, as if you had entered the combination.

Just like the battery method, we also have an equally easy way to unlock the lock. No need to go to a DIY store to get a lock picking kit! All you need, dear readers, are two office paper clips! These are the steps to follow to do it effectively:

- Take the first clip and unfold it all the way to get a kind of tension bar.
- Do the same with the second clip, just fold its end up.
- Using a hook, try to locate the studs (they are usually 3-5 in number).
- Use the tension bar to reassemble the bolts one at a time, locking them in the correct position.
- As soon as all the hasps are correctly positioned, the lock on your padlock will open as if by magic.
