4 tips for cleaning tile joints from mold and dirt

The combination of baking soda and white vinegar to clean the joints of your tiles

Baking soda and white vinegar are two household products you’re sure to find in your pantry. These products have cleaning and disinfecting properties, which need no introduction. To clean your joints, Mix in a spray bottle, 4 tablespoons of baking soda and 10 cl of white vinegar, then apply the solution obtained on the joints and leave it to act for 5 minutes. Then, using a used toothbrush, carefully scrub the dirtiest areas. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water and dry your tiles with a dry cloth.

Baking soda to remove mildew stains from tile joints

If you don’t have white vinegar, don’t panic! Baking soda, on its own, may be enough. Among other things, it will effectively clean dirty or moldy joints. That’s why, pour water on your tiles and then spray the joints with baking soda. Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes and then brush vigorously with an old toothbrush.

Bleach to whiten moldy tile joints

Bleach is often used as a disinfectant because it contains a lot of chlorine, which is very effective at cleaning tile joints. In fact, chlorine kills bacteria and fungi. To use it, simply pour bleach on the stamps in question and leave to act for 10 to 15 minutes, then rub, then. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water.
